Developing and Scanning (120, B&W, Low Res)
Developing and scanning for 35mm black and white film, currently processed using Caffenol development. Each roll is handled carefully through the developing, stop, fixing, washing, and drying stages to keep the results as clean and consistent as possible. Black and white film developed using a Caffenol-based process, known for producing a distinctive organic tonality with gentle contrast, visible character, and a slightly vintage feel. This method can give each roll a more individual look, making it well suited for photographers who enjoy a softer, more handcrafted black and white result rather than a purely clinical finish. Scanned at 1600 DPI using an Epson V600, this is perfect for social media, sharing with friends, viewing on your phone, and keeping a digital copy of your negatives. This option is best if you do not need large prints or heavy editing room, but still want your photos scanned with care and delivered in an easy-to-share format (JPEG). At the moment, black and white development is only available with Caffenol, but Kodak XTOL development is planned to be added soon for those who want a more standard black and white developer option.
